OFFICE & DME PROGRAM MANAGER & REFERRALS COORDINATOR
Kimberly Sweeney
-
I love hats—both literally and figuratively—because I wear so many of them. At home, I’m a loving and supportive wife to my forever person, a proud mom to three almost-adults, and a devoted pet parent to our two fur babies.
Before finding my way to HBHM, I spent more than 20 years as a registered dental hygienist, with a focus on pediatrics. Educating and supporting families, and being part of a child’s health journey from the very beginning, has always filled my happiness bucket.
At HBHM, creating a positive and reassuring experience for new moms and their children is my top priority.
In addition to her work with families, Shannon is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse and has spent the past 12 years working in mental health care across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. She currently works on the adolescent unit at Butler Hospital, where she brings compassion, empathy, and therapeutic care to patients and families.

She believes that welcoming a new baby is one of life’s most meaningful yet challenging transitions, and she strives to provide families with the knowledge, reassurance, and emotional support they need to thrive.
She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from the Community College of Rhode Island and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Rhode Island.
