Consulting Services for Infant Home Phototherapy
Healthy Babies, Happy Moms Inc. (HBHM) has been providing infant phototherapy in our patient's homes for over 10 years. In that time, we have developed a program that prevents readmission and delayed hospital discharge while keeping mothers and babies together to foster breastfeeding success. Since 2020, we have been using the Little Sparrows Technologies bili-hut™. Our experience has been that our babies are very happy in the hut and the treatment time is much shorter than therapy provided by other equipment. The combination of our program and the bili-hut™ enables us to save insurance companies money, decrease family stress, and contribute to the improved health of both mother and baby.
HBHM has developed a manual detailing our infant home phototherapy process, policies, and procedures. This manual is available with consulting services to ensure your success while starting your own program. You will learn about licensing, regulation, contracting with insurers, claims filing, and effective communication with families and referral sources. We share the preferred vendors that enable us to keep our program running smoothly. Our nursing care is explained in detail and includes all charting information and forms needed to be compliant with insurance company requirements and state and federal laws.
