Together you can plan for the chaos & manage the unknowns. Learn how to work with your partner, even if you have different backgrounds or beliefs, in ways that will make you stronger than ever.

Session One: Sunday January 6, 2019 9:45 am - 12 pm
Nest Building: Having a baby can change different aspects of your life & relationships. Along with all the good stuff, there are normal & common challenges you can prepare for. Prepared parents cope better & adjust more easily to their new life with baby.
Set up Base Camp: Family is forever. Set up healthy habits now to deal with future changes & challenges. When you become a family there are individual needs, couple needs & baby needs. How do you meet them all? Knowing how to get needs met is the beginning of coping.
Session Two: Sunday January 20, 2019 9:45 am - 12 pm
From Being Me to Becoming Us: As circumstances & roles change, people can change too. That’s part of adapting. Change can result in more differences & conflict. Doing “differences” well can make couples stronger together. The couple bond forms the foundation for their family.
Traveling Together: Being connected with yourself, your partner, your baby & others steadies you through the transition. Being connected reduces the risk for Perinatal Mood Disorders. Knowing how to reconnect when you have been disconnected strengthens your relationship.
Who’s it for? Ideally, expecting parents in the second trimester. However, all couples in any stage of pregnancy are welcome.
Cost: $95 per couple for both sessions and includes a copy of the award winning book
